Sacred Plants
Yagé – Ayahuasca
Yage is a sacred plant from the Putumayo and Amazon, from this plant the indigenous communities of Putumayo Sionas, Ingas, Cofán, among others perform ceremonies that are the opportunity for the human being to be in direct contact with the divinity, with his own spirit. The sacred yagé, used in a responsible and appropriate way, is a remedy for the soul, allows to sharpen the senses, and awaken the sense of vision and love.
The Ambil and the Mambe
From the villages of the Amazon, the elders share their traditions and sacred plants that are the Ambil and the Mambe, these sacred plants allow to remember to the human being the reason to be in the earth, happiness. The Carare Community receives this tradition from the hands of the cacique muinane Victor Martinez Jairifora, who presents us to his people as children of tobacco and coca. It empowers and authorizes us to make use of these sacred plants.
Word of Life
For about 15 years we have held gatherings initially to share our experiences with the sacred remedy, later when we received the gift of Mambe and Ambil, these gatherings evolve into “Word Circles”. These word circles allow us to share through the grandfather Tabaco – Ambil, and the grandmother Coca – Mambe, different concepts or feelings that as a man we ask ourselves continuously. Thanks to this task we have developed our main book “The Path of Eternity” where we have listened and decided the word of the grandparents of different indigenous communities.
